Understand the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of project.
Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
Identify, Prepare and Review test plans, test scenarios and test cases.
Execution of test cases.
Collaborating with team members & report the defects
Retesting software after bugs are fixed to ensure the program works properly
Preparation of test reports.
Be an active participant in the meetings with the Development team, clients & stakeholders.
Documentation which includes User Manual, Software Requirement Specification (SRS), Business Requirement Document (BRD) etc.
Skills & Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of Software Testing theories and practices.
Knowledge & experience with test management tools.
ISTQB Certifications preferred
Basic awareness of any scripting.
Experience in testing Web & Mobile Applications, documentation.
Manual Testing and Automated Testing.
Programming knowledge [This depends on whether a Black Box or a White Box testing methodology is used.]
Excellent communication skills.
Strong Analytical & Critical thinking.
Problem Solving & Time Management
Should be a Graduate in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or similar field.
